Call us before you leave. In most cases we can talk you through securing the opening temporarily so it is not left exposed while you wait, and we will give you a realistic arrival window rather than a comforting one.

The door made a bang and now it won't lift. What happened?

That is almost always a torsion spring letting go, and the door has suddenly become far heavier than it was. Do not try to force it up, and do not keep pressing the remote — running the motor against a broken spring is how a spring job becomes a motor job. Leave it and call.
